1 Butts Close is home to local business From Garden to Vase. Flower grower florist, Suzy Cubitt-O’Neil, has an extensive cutting garden where she grows all her flowers to sell using organic practices.
The garden backs onto the fields and valley beyond with wonderful views. There are also unusual garden buildings in the garden hand-built by her creative husband.
Suzy says: “I select plants with their cutting qualities in mind, choosing unique varieties which, where possible, smell amazing! To continue with my vintage theme I like to grow heritage varieties of old favourites such as sweet peas. I grow many of my plants from seed using peat-free compost.”
