Location: | St Mary's Church |
Address: | Banbury |
For many of our community, this is an important moment in the year: a chance to come together with others and remember those we have lost.
The event will start at Banbury Cross at 7pm for the switching on of the Christmas lights. This is followed by the main event at 7.15pm at St Mary’s Church, Banbury. We expect the event to finish by 8.30pm.
The programme will feature special music, poems and reflections from members of staff at the hospice, and our Chaplain, Jo, will be leading a reflection.
The event is open to all faiths and none. In St Mary’s the evening will include a special programme featuring songs by a choir, a string quartet, poems and reflections from members of staff at the hospice. The event is expected to last between one hour and 90 minutes and hot drinks and mince pies will be served.
A list of names of those we remember will be shown on a screen during the event.
