Banbury Museum are organising a number of activities to keep your children entertained. The activities do cost a small amount, but most are open to all children from 4 years upwards. For some activities you may need to book a places. Times and booking details are available here.
Monday 17 February – Clay Creatures
Sculpt an animal, alien or anything you can imagine. See what wonderous things you can create from clay. Messy fun that little ones will love! £4 per child and suitable for ages 4+.
Tuesday 18 February – Rockets!
A fun day using art and engineering skills! Build space rockets pictures, with lots of cutting and sticking your collage rockets will surely fly to the moon. The team from Kineton STEM will be there to show off their rocket cars. £3 per child and suitable for ages 4+.
Wednesday 19 February – Bath Bomb Making
Mix up all the ingredients to with different colours and flavours to make a set of mini bath bombs and decorate a basket to put them. £7 per child and suitable for ages 4+.
Wednesday 19 February – Art Explorers – Chalk & Charcoal
Let your child explore their artistic side with chalk and charcoal. £4 per child and suitable for ages 4+.
Thursday 20 February – Moving Masterpiece
Using Automator starter kits create an artwork that moves when your turn the handle. From rockets and dragon to dancers and dogs, anything goes! £6 per child and suitable for ages 6+.
Thursday 20 February – Art Explorers – Pastels & Finger Paint
Let your child explore their artistic side with pastels & finger paint. £4 per child and suitable for ages 4+.
Friday 21 February – Art Explorers – Collage & Mosaic
Let your child explore their artistic side with collage & mosaic materials. £4 per child and suitable for ages 4+.
