Firefighters from Banbury deal with flatbed van fire
A vehicle fire just outside Deddington on the A4260 was dealt with by fire fighters on Sunday afternoon. Breathing apparatus and a hose reel were used to extinguish the blazing vehicle.
The vehicle – a flatbed van – caught fire just south of the village at the bottom of the hill on the Oxford Road. A crew from Banbury Fire Station attended and quickly extinguished the fire.
Recovery of the vehicle began on Monday morning.
