Award for Saint’s manager as club back in people’s promotion thoughts
Brackley Town’s Manager Kevin Wilkin has been named the Vanarama National League North Manager of the Month for December. Mr Wilkin is one of the division’s longest serving managers.
December was a good month for The Saints. They achieved four league wins, against Guiseley, Spennymoor Town, Blyth Spartans and Gloucester and a draw against Leamington.
The club missed out on a third round FA Cup fixture after a narrow defeat at Tranmere Rovers in a live televised game. Brackley Town were also involved in a dramatic FA Trophy penalty shoot-out at National League Chesterfield.
The Saints have started 2021 unbeaten so far and has placed themselves back in people’s promotion thoughts.
