Couple caught flouting COVID rules, parked up and watching TV show on mobile phone
Watching The Only Way Is Essex whilst parked up at the Burton Dassett Hills Country Park could land you with a COVID restrictions enforcement fine. One couple must now pay up after being caught by police officers doing just that earlier this week.
Officers from Wellesbourne Police have been patrolling the beauty spot over the last few days. They found the couple sat in their car watching the TV show on a mobile phone.
The fine is one of four which have been issued in the last few days.
In encouraging people to stay at home the Police said: “We’ve all got a part to play in slowing the spread of the virus.”
