Appeal after Wednesday M40 crash

Two taken to hospital after collision between HGV and flatbed van

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a crash on the M40 on Wednesday.   The collision happened just south of junction 10 heading towards Bicester.

A white DAF heavy good vehicle and a white Mercedes Sprinter flatbed van collided at 2.26 on Wednesday afternoon.

The driver of the van, a man in his forties, and his passenger, a man in his fifties, both sustained injuries and needed hospital treatment.   They were taken to the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford but have since been discharged.

Investigating officer PC Daniel Watford of the roads policing unit based in Bicester said: “I am appealing for anyone who was driving in the area at the time and may have witnessed this incident or has dash-cam footage to please get in touch.
