Intruder flees the scene after being caught in property

A Sibford Ferris person came face to face with a burglar in the early hours of Friday morning.   The intruder fled from the scene once discovered.

Thames Valley Police is now appealing for anyone in the area who may have seen anything to get in contact.

The burglar entered the property on Hook Norton Road in Sibford Ferris on Friday morning (29th January), sometime between 1.00am and 2.30am.    The burglar was discovered in the building by the occupant of the property.    Once found, the burglar ran away from the scene.

Police Officers want to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious people or vehicles in the area between those times.   They are asking people to check CCTV/ Ring Doorbells.   Additionally, anyone who happened to be driving through the village with dash cam footage is also asked to get in contact.
