Mill Arts Centre plans for lockdown easing

15/03/2021

The Creative Learning programme will be one of the first things to restart

The steps back towards a post-lockdown world at The Mill Arts Centre have been announced, starting with the return of their in-person education programme.   The news follows recent government announcements, including the proposed timeline for lockdown easing.

Tickets are now on sale for the Creative Learning programme, which will resume on Monday April 19.

Step 3 of the current roadmap for the easing of lockdown allows for the resumption of live shows and events from May 17.   The Mill are speaking to producers and promoters to resume selected events and are looking at those that are able to proceed safely with a reduced capacity and in a socially distanced format.

All planned live performances before May 17 will be rescheduled where possible.    The Mill says that if you have a booking their Box Office team will be in touch in due course.

The arts centre says that they will be taking a number of steps to protect visitors including additional regular cleaning schedules, socially distanced room layouts, a building one-way / directional system and allocated toilet facilities, PPE for staff and tutors and reduced class sizes.
