Parish Council hears of dog fouling and abusive language near school and urges villagers to be courteous and respectful

Villagers in Wroxton are being asked to be courteous and respectful of one another after reports of anti-social behaviour in the area around Wroxton Primary School.

At March’s Wroxton and Balscote Parish Council meeting the Chair Cllr Marcovitch reported he had received a letter from the Head of Wroxton Primary School raising a number of issues.    The anti-social behaviour incidents included dog fouling on the school driveway and verbal abuse.

Parish Councillors heard that some abusive language had been directed at parents dropping off or collecting their children from the school.

Parish Councillors had provisionally offered funding towards a CCTV system, but the school had decided against that.

Cllr Duncan Collins told the meeting he felt that these matters should be reported by the school to the Neighbourhood Policing Team.    However, Councillors agreed that a note should be posted on the village website reminding residents to be courteous and respectful of one another.
