Drugs arrest in Cherwell Street


Man from town arrested by Tasking Team on Tuesday afternoon

A 23-year-old male was arrested in Banbury on Tuesday afternoon after being found with class A drugs.

The man, who comes from the town was caught by officers from the Tasking Team in Cherwell Street.

He was charged with possession with intent to supply Class A Drugs and appeared before Magistrates today, when he was remanded into Custody.

The class A drugs were heroin and cocaine.

Its understood members of the team worked till 4.30am today preparing the case for court this morning.
