Festival line-up announced as tickets go on sale

10cc will be the Friday night headliners

In the depths of a cold and snowy spell in December, today is the day we are invited to think ahead to the gloriously warm and sunny days in the fields at Cropredy next summer.   Tickets for Fairport’s Cropredy Festival 2023 went on sale this morning.

To coincide with that the line-up for the three day event has been announced.

10cc will be the Friday night headliners, having last graced the stage at Cropredy some ten years ago.

The group that infamously brought us the song “Part Of The Union” in the 1970s will also appear.   Many thought they wouldn’t get to see The Strawbs again when David Cousins announced he would no longer be performing live due to ill health.   But the bands members, past and present, will be reuniting at Cropredy one more time.

Others on the bill include Gilbert O’Sullivan, Toyah Wilcox and Robert Fripp and Richard Digance.

Fairport Convention and their guests will once again bring the festival’s Saturday evening to a close.

The Cropredy Festival runs from August 10 to 12 and ticket details are available here.
