A man has been sent to prison after he assaulted a woman in Banbury.

Twenty-eight year old Grant Stephen, who’s from Balmoral Avenue, had been the passenger in a car that was travelling along Woodgreen Avenue on January 23, 2021.   The driver was a woman in her twenties.   Stephen forced her to stop the car.   He grabbed hold of her hair and headbutted her multiple times.

Last Friday at Oxford Crown Court he was sentenced to one year and four months’ imprisonment.
