Outdoor pool’s summer season starts this weekend

The water will be heated to 25 Celsius
It might not look like summer is just round the corner, but one sign the warmer weather is on the way locally is when Banbury’s Outdoor Swimming Pool opens for the summer season.
From Sunday Woodgreen Leisure Centre will be opening the pool twice daily for public swimming sessions with lane swimming sessions also in the daily schedule.
And after a month of making early season chilly water swimming available, the heating is now on with the water temperature rising up to 25 Celsius – some ten degrees higher than the outside temperatures are due to be this bank holiday weekend!
