The club is hoping supporters will see the benefits of buying a season ticket

Banbury United have released details of their ticket prices for home games next season.   An adult season ticket will cost £275, which is an increase on last year’s price of £170.

The club is hoping supporters will recognise that the increased ticket price is necessary now the Puritans are playing at a higher level and facing additional challenges and costs.  A season ticket will also give access to more games this year – with Banbury having 23 home league matches scheduled, in comparison to the 20 that were played last season.

Its hoped many of those heading to watch Banbury United this year will buy a season ticket.   Members can purchase their adult season ticket at a reduced rate of £250.   This equates to a cost of £10.87 per game – which, despite the price increase, is slightly less than they would have paid if buying individual game tickets last season.

A spokesperson for Banbury United said: “The cost of matchday tickets is obviously an increase on 2021-22 but we hope that supporters will recognise this reflects the higher level the team is playing at, with associated higher costs, and that they are comparable with other teams at this level.

“The new board is endeavouring to improve spectators’ matchday experience.”

This is the full scale of ticket prices:

Individual Matchday Tickets:
Adult – £15
Concession – £11
Student – £8
Under 18 – £5
Under 11 – £2

Season Tickets:
Adult – £275 (members £250)
