21/07/2022
The Trust’s Chair says the move will ensure stability while the new CEO recruitment process continues
Following the departure of Professor Bruno Holthof as the Chief Executive Officer of the Trust that looks after the Horton General Hospital, the Oxford University Hospital’s Trust board yesterday appointed a new Chief Executive Officer on a fixed term basis for twelve months.
Professor Meghana Pandit took up her role as Interim Chief Executive Officer on July 1. She will now fulfil the role for the fixed one-year period. Professor Pandit was previously the trust’s Chief Medical Officer.
The appointment will run until 30 June 2023.
The Trust’s Chair, Professor Sir Jonathan Montgomery, said: “This will ensure stability and an opportunity for Meghana to take ownership of this key leadership role while our new CEO recruitment process continues. I am very grateful to Meghana for taking on this role.”
Professor Meghana Pandit said: “It is a privilege to be asked to lead our OneTeamOneOUH and I look forward to working with colleagues at OUH including Trust Board members and our partners in the health and social care system in Oxfordshire and across the new Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care System.”
