Andy Green

Andy is the man who get’s you ready for the day ahead presenting Banbury FM Breakfast each weekday morning.   He is proud to have been born at our very own Horton General Hospital and went to the both the Warriner and Banbury Schools.

Andy has worked for a number of radio stations across the country but started his career right here in Oxfordshire presenting very popular programmes on Fox FM throughout the 1990s.

Andy left Fox to start Banbury FM back in 2001 and ran the hugely successful trial programmes – remember the temporary studios outside Tescos?  At the same time Andy was “the boss” for the Milestone Group and oversaw all the programmes on their seven stations around the Thames Valley, the Midlands and London, achieving some still unbeaten listening figures.

After this Andy took a role as the Regional Station Manager for Tindle Radio and since 2008 has run his own company providing support to radio stations both on air and behind the scenes.

Today Andy is proud to be back in his home town giving Banbury the radio station it always wanted – a station that really cares about the area we all call home.
