Travellers evicted from Brackley Cricket Club

A Section 61 notice was use to enforce the removal of the encampment

Travellers have been moved on after moving on to land at Brackley Cricket Club.   Action was taken to remove the encampment with the site cleared by this afternoon.

Northampton Police issued a Section 61 notice which was served on the Travellers.    Officers visited the Cricket Club off Westminster Road this morning (Sunday).

The travellers were moved on by local police together with help from Interceptors from the Northamptonshire Police Response Team.   The site was fully vacated by early afternoon.
