Drugs, assault and weapon charges for teenage boys

Aged 14 and 16, the boys came to Banbury from Warwick and Leamington Spa
Two teenage boys have been charged with drugs offences in Banbury. One has also been charged with assaulting an emergency worker.
The boys are aged 16 and 14. They can’t be named for legal reasons.
Neither boy is from Banbury, but the offences relate to an incident that occurred in White Lion Walk on Monday.
The 16-year-old comes from Leamington Spa and has been charged with three counts of possession with intent to supply heroin a class A drug, those being crack cocaine and cocaine.
The 14-year-old has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, assault by beating of an emergency worker and three counts of possession with intent to supply a class A drug. He comes from Warwick.
The boys appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court yesterday and were released on conditional bail. They are both due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on September 5.
