MP visits Banbury design centre for the Mahindra Group

The multinational company are based on the Wildmere Road
Banbury’s MP has visited the new design centre for Mahindra Advanced Design Europe which opened in Banbury a couple of weeks ago. Mahindra is a multinational Indian automotive manufacturing corporation with its headquartered in Mumbai.
Based on the Wildmere Road, the facility is equipped with state-of-the-art design tools to help with the creation of the brand’s portfolio of electric vehicles.
Victoria Prentis was given a tour of the building by the Chief Design Officer, Pratap Bose, and Design Director, Cosimo Amadei. She met the 30 staff the company employs, many of whom have been recruited locally.
The studio is Mahindra’s third around the world and sits on the same campus as the Mahindra Racing building – which is home to the Mahindra Formula E team. Mrs Prentis also toured this facility, guided by the CEO and Team Principal, Dilbagh Gill, and CFO, Chandrashekhar Joshi.
Mrs Prentis said: “It is brilliant to see Mahindra investing and expanding in Banbury. Their state-of-the-art campus is actively recruiting locally and is only adding to our town’s credentials as an international centre of automotive and motorsport excellence.”
