Warning to be on your guard against potential vehicle crime
Thames Valley Police is warning people to be on their guard after receiving reports of a man tampering with parked vehicles on Banbury’s Middleton Road on Monday afternoon.
Officers first received a report of a man carrying a spanner tampering with parked vehicles at just after 3pm. Whilst dealing with the report they issued a message asking people to ensure their vehicles were left properly secured. They also warned against leaving tools and other valuables in vehicles.
The message from officers said: “Please report sightings of any suspicious activity from persons or vehicles in this area via 999, quoting incident number INC-20210111-1148.”
