Engineering works affect local train services this weekend

A replacement bus service will be in place between Banbury and Oxford and Banbury and Bicester

Rail users are being warned that engineering works could affect their journeys this weekend.

Due to work at Oxford station no trains will be running to there from Banbury, with replacement buses in use instead.

Planned engineering works will also see the railway closed between Bicester North and Banbury.   An amended timetable will be in operation, with replacement buses operating from Banbury and Kings Sutton stations.

Those travelling are warned that journeys will take considerably longer than usual.
