Vehicle seized for no insurance – despite warning

28/10/2022

The owner had already been warned about not having insurance

A vehicle was seized by police in Banbury’s Grange Road after it was spotted without any insurance – for a second time.

Officers had previously written to the owner of the car regarding the vehicle’s insurance as part of Operation Tutelage, a national operation tackling uninsured driving on UK roads.

Members of the Roads Policing Team pulled over the vehicle yesterday afternoon.   The driver has been reported and the car seized.
