A member of the public stepped in to pull the attacker off the victim
A man was repeatedly punched in the face during an assault in Banbury last night (Friday). The victim required hospital treatment following the incident.
A member of the public stepped in during the assault to pull the attacker off the victim.
The assault occurred on the Warwick Road at around 7:15pm.
A witness appeal has now been launched.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “We believe that a number of people may have witnessed this assault, and we are particularly keen to speak to a member of the public who helped the victim by pulling the suspect off him.
