Tractor drivers loved showing off their decorated vehicles

Organiser Jennie Steenkamp says the support around the route was unbelievable
Thousands of people came out on a cold Saturday evening to enjoy the spectacle of this year’s RC Baker Christmas Tractor Run.
The extension of the route into Banbury provided popular with families lining sections of the Bloxham and Oxford Roads into and out of town. South Bar was crowded with happy faces on both sides of the road.
In previous years the convoy of fairy lit tractors visited the villages to the southern side of Banbury and up until this year has raised over £69,000 for the Katharine House Hospice. This year’s total is still being calculated.
Organiser Jennie Steenkamp from RC Baker was delighted with how the evening had gone and said the tractor drivers – including TV star Kaleb Cooper – loved coming into Banbury.
Jennie said: “The evening went really well. The support all around the route was unbelievable. It was no mean feat managing to organise Banbury being included in the route, but the response on Saturday evening made all the hard work worth-while.”
You can still donate to the Tractor Run’s fund-raiser for Katharine House on this website.
