The car’s driver provided a positive drugs wipe
A driver has been arrested after his vehicle was spotted on the M40 with a tyre missing from a rear wheel. The BMW had travelled around 50 miles before officers stopped it.
Initially Warwickshire Police saw the car during Bank Holiday Monday evening. Officers from Thames Valley Police took over as driver continued southbound past Banbury.
The vehicle finally stopped near junction 9 at Bicester.
The driver was arrested after providing a positive drugs wipe and being found to have no insurance and driving a vehicle in dangerous condition.
