Man charged with drug driving after incident in Steeple Aston

The 48-year-old is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on January 9

A man has been charged with drug driving following an incident that occurred in Steeple Aston last September.

Following a Thames Valley police investigation Darren Smith, 48, of Blackthorn Hill in Bicester was charged with one count of driving a motor vehicle with the proportion of a specified drug above the specified limit.

Smith’s arrest follows an incident that happened on Fir Lane in Steeple Aston September 30.   He is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court next Monday (January 9).
