Man steal’s teenager’s phone after threatening her

The girl was followed as she left the small park off Ferriston and Ironstones in Banbury
A teenage girl gave up her iPhone to a man after he threatened her. The robbery took place between 5pm and 6pm on Monday January 23.
The man approached the girl in the small park off Ferriston and Ironstones in Banbury. He followed her out of the park and told her to hand over her phone.
When the victim initially refused, the offender threatened her. She then handed over her red iPhone SE.
The man ran off in the direction of Highlands with the phone.
He is described as a white teenager and of slim build. He was wearing a black and grey Trapstar coat, black and grey Trapstar tracksuit bottoms with writing on them, a black ski mask balaclava, black gloves and a silver necklace.
Thames Valley Police is asking for the public’s help as they investigate the robbery. Investigating officer PC Craig Naylor said: “I am appealing to anybody who may have been in the area at around the time of the incident to contact Thames Valley Police if you believe you witnessed any suspicious activity.
