Drugs raid in Grimsbury

A 24 year old man was arrested on Thursday morning

A drugs raid has taken place in the Grimsbury area of Banbury this morning (Thursday).   A Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act warrant was executed on Fergusson Road, which is close to Moorfield Park.

A 24 year old male was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.   He was also arrested on suspicion of stalking offences.   The male is currently in police custody.

Thames Valley Police said people will see an increased police presence in the area.   A spokesperson said: “If residents have any concerns please do speak to officers who will be happy to provide some reassurance.”
