Mrs Prentis attended the Coronation in her role as Attorney General
Banbury’s MP says Saturday’s Coronation was a fabulous day which King Charles clearly found moving. Victoria Prentis was invited to attend the ceremony at Westminster Abbey in her role as Attorney General.
Mrs Prentis told Banbury FM: “The crowds were fantastic; the soldiers were wonderful. The King looked fantastic and clearly found the whole experience very moving.
“It was a very spiritual service with amazing music. The flowers and the Abbey looked wonderful.
“There were people from all around the world all walks of life – foreign leaders, people representing charities, amazing creative musicians.”
Mrs Prentis sat behind the choir with other government ministers in the Cabinet.
She added: “The music was a a high point for me. I very much enjoyed watching the pageantry and the processions.
“All in all, it’s been a fabulous day with everybody enjoying themselves.”
