18/07/2023
The bike was seized after being ridden anti-socially in Princess Diana Park
A motorbike has been seized by the police after it was reported as being ridden anti-socially in a Banbury park.
Officers acted on Monday afternoon when members of the public contacted them. The team working on Operation Jankle found the vehicle in Princess Diana Park.
Operation Jankle is a direct response to ongoing anti-social behaviour and offending by youths in the Banbury area.
Following its seizure the motorbike was taken to a compound. The rightful owner now has the right to collect it as long as they can demonstrate they own it, have insurance and its roadworthy. Otherwise, it will be scrapped.
