Technical issue shuts outdoor pool today

An engineer was expected on site yesterday evening but the pool will remain closed on Wednesday
Outdoor swimmers have had their Wednesday sessions at the Woodgreen Leisure Centre cancelled today. The announcement was made by centre management yesterday evening due to what they described as “a technical problem with the pool”.
It was hoped just the morning session would need to be cancelled, with later sessions able to go ahead, however it became clear late last night all Wednesday sessions would be affected. The centre said that all customers who had booked in for a swim today would be called to rearrange.
Initially an engineer was expected on site on Tuesday evening with a view to resolving the problem so that the pool could be opened for the lunchtime session.
The Woodgreen Leisure Centre management said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
