Warning of thunderstorms on Wednesday

A yellow weather warning was issued on Tuesday morning
Banbury and Brackley look set to be hit by thunderstorms tomorrow (Wednesday).
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning and we are in the middle of the area they expect to be affected.
The warning comes into effect from 9am with a prediction of heavy showers which may cause some flooding and travel disruption. The thunderstorm may also bring lightning strikes with the potential to damage buildings.
The yellow weather warning is in force throughout the day until 7pm.
Wednesday’s scheduled Play and Activity Day in Brackley has been cancelled in response to the forecast weather.
