Cropredy festival weekend is here!
10/08/2023
The festival usually attracts around 20.000 people
The gates are open and the festival is underway!
Fairport’s Cropredy Convention is up and running, with campers heading onto the site from 7 o’clock this morning.
Thousands of people will make the fields around Cropredy their home for the next few days, with many local businesses and organisations benefitting from the influx of visitors.
Known as the friendly festival, today’s headliners are Nile Rodgers and Chic, with Toyah and Robert Fripp also on the bill, and Fairport Convention performing an acoustic set.
The music field opens at 2pm with the music starting at 4pm.
Around the village and the camping fields the Cropredy Fringe provides plenty of alternatives for Festival goers. Banbury band The Skalectrics will be performing from 9pm in the festivals former field 8 – which is now a private campsite at The Old Dairy Farm. There’s also fringe events in the village at the Brasenose Arms and the Red Lion.
