Witness appeal after Friday morning fatal A43 collision
A lorry driver has died after an accident on the A43 around Brackley earlier today (Friday May 21). At around 10am a white articulated lorry was in collision with the roundabout next to the BP garage on the bypass.
The driver was treated by paramedics at the scene but sadly died.
Police officers are investigating the circumstances of the single-vehicle collision. They are appealing for any witnesses to get in touch. They also want to hear from anyone who may have relevant dash-cam footage taken prior to, during, or after the collision.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Drivewatch Hotline on 0800 174615, regarding incident 143 of May 21, 2021. A stretch of the northbound A43 has been closed between the A422 Buckingham Road junction and Brackley North by the BP Garage since the accident. It is likely to remain closed for the rest of the day.
