Teenagers get a chance to play football thanks to Banbury United community initiative
Youngsters are being invited to two new football drop-in sessions which start today. The chance to play a game each Tuesday is aimed at teenagers. The sessions are being run by the Banbury United in the Community team in association with Cherwell District Council.
45 minutes matches will be organised for those aged 12-16 from 5.45pm. Those aged 17-19 are invited to attend from 6.30pm.
Both sessions will be held at the North Oxfordshire Academy on the Astro pitch.
The organisers say youngsters can just turn up and there is no need to pre-book. Each session costs £1.

Sat for half an hour waiting tonight from 5.40 until 6.10. Nobody turned up, waste of time!
