A large quantity of Class B drugs were seized along with cash and other items linked to the supply of drugs
A 19-year-old Banbury man was arrested last night (Friday) following the execution of a drugs related warrant at a property on Easington Road. During the joint operation between Thames Valley police and Cherwell District Council’s Community Safety Team a large quantity of Class B drugs were seized along with cash and other items linked to the supply of drugs.
The action followed several reports of anti-social behaviour and suspected drug supply.
Following the execution of the S23 Misuse of Drugs Act Warrant a 19-year-old male was arrested and taken into police custody.
The property concerned will continue to be the subject of further work by the team involved in last night’s activity. Writing on social media officers said: “Working in partnership with Cherwell District Council Community Safety Team there will be ongoing action taken in relation to the disarray of the property and the detrimental impact this is having upon neighbours.
