Police in Banbury last night seized an electronic scrambler bike as they continue to address concerns of anti-social behaviour by the people using them.

Officers from the Neighbourhood Team spotted the bike on Marlowe Close on the Bretch Hill estate.

The rider was identified and dealt with.

Writing on social media Thames Valley Police said: “We are aware of ongoing concerns from residents about anti-social behaviour caused by riders of such bikes. We are working hard to identify those involved and once we have the evidence required to identify the riders further action will be taken.”

Anyone who has information of use to the investigation is asked to make a report by calling 101 or visiting the Force’s website.   Footage of those involved can also be emailed to banburytownnhpt2@thamesvalley.police.uk.
