There are 68 sleeps left to Christmas and some people are already preparing. Amongst them is Banbury’s MP Victoria Prentis who has launched her annual Christmas card competition to find the design that will adorn all the festive greetings she sends out this year.
Youngsters from the area are invited to get creative within this year’s theme of “Nativity Animals”.
The competition is open to all primary school aged children in North Oxfordshire and entries should be sent to Mrs Prentis at House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA by Friday November 3.
Mrs Prentis said: “I know it may seem a bit too early to start thinking about Christmas, but I have just launched my annual card competition so that children have plenty of time to design their entries over the October half-term.”
She added: “the winner will have their design printed on the front of my Christmas card which goes out to over 200 people in the constituency and beyond. Last year I even managed to share a copy with the Prime Minister.”
