Young boy suffers cuts and bruising after assault by older boys

Victim had been playing football by Hill Community Centre when two older youths approached him
A young boy received cuts and bruising to his arm after an assault by two older boys in a Banbury park.
The victim had been playing football in the park by the Hill Community Centre on Dover Avenue at around 6.30pm last Thursday (July 29). He was approached by two teenage boys who picked him up and took him to the side of the community centre building before running off.
During the incident the young boy scraped his arm causing cuts and bruising, but did not require any medical treatment.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following the assault.
The teenage boys were both white and around 15 years old. One had black curly hair.
Investigating officer PC Robert Crofts, based at Banbury police station said: “I am appealing for any witnesses of this incident, or anyone who has any information, to please get in touch.
