Comments sought as inspection of Horton’s maternity services begins
23/10/2023
The Care Quality Commission’s visit is pre-planned
A team of inspectors from the Care Quality Commission are beginning an inspection of the Horton General Hospital’s maternity services today.
It’s a planned inspection and they are keen to receive feedback on the service from the wider community. Oxford University Hospitals Trust has already contacted all those who used Horton maternity between March 1, 2022 and May 31 this year.
Paula Gardner, Interim Chief Nursing Officer, said: “We hope that every patient has a good experience of using our services, including the Horton’s maternity services.
“We recognise that not every outcome is happy and not every patient has the experience that they would like. If you feel able to, the Care Quality Commission would like to hear from you about your experiences to learn from them whether they were positive or not.”
Anyone wishing to submit a comment to the Care Quality Commission about the Horton’s maternity services, or any other area, can do so using this link.
