Mueza joins the team with two vital roles to play
There’s a new member of staff working with the team at the Banbury Community Fridge. The volunteers at the Madni Mosque on Merton Street in Grimsbury are being joined by a feline recruit.
Mueza the cat has been appointed as “head of rodent control” and also “chief making friends with visitors” officer.
The kitten is still very young and due a 2nd vaccination very soon, but after that will be out and about taking control of the area and making friends with all the Community Fridge visitors.
The Community Fridge takes unwanted food from local supermarkets and food warehouses and makes it available to the local community.
