Attempted phone theft after pair followed by group of men

They had reached Alma Road when the incident occurred
A man and woman were followed out of Banbury town centre by a group of men who attempted to take the man’s mobile phone.
During the incident, which happened at around 9pm on Tuesday October 10, threats were also made.
The man and woman had been walking away from the town centre before the men approached them on Alma Road.
Thames Valley Police has released a CCTV image of two men officers would like to speak to.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Sophie Smith said: “We would like to appeal to anyone who recognises the individuals in this image to please get in touch as they may have vital information about the incident.

“Alternatively, for 100% anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
