Last chance to see Cinderella – BCP’s 2023 panto
21/11/2023
Limited tickets remain for the performances which start on Thursday
Just a few tickets remain for this year’s pantomime by the Banbury Cross Players. They’re bringing Cinderella to the stage at the Mill Arts Centre from this Thursday.
It’s the familiar rags-to-riches story of a young girl, ill-treated by her stepmother and sisters who falls in love with a Real Life Prince Charming. Together with her best friend Buttons, she overcomes adversity to land her ‘Happy Ever After’.
The script was written for a modern family audience by Player’s member Justin Clinch, who himself plays Bunion in the panto.
Lead roles are taken by Steve Ramsden (Prince Charming), Adrian McGlynn (Dandini) and Katy Roberts (Cinderella).
Director, Liz Riley, said: “Panto is an ensemble piece and thrives with an enthusiastic, high energy chorus, and an audience to match. I have a brilliant cast and I am delighted to be working with a newly ’adapted-for-Banbury’ version by Justin Clinch – a script which premiered to great acclaim in West Wycombe in 2016.”
Performances are at 7.30pm this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with a matinee at 2.30pm on Saturday afternoon. The last remaining tickets are available from the Mill Arts Centre website.
