Friday lunchtime fire in a caravan and horse box

Firefighters had to deal with a fire that involved gas cylinders on Friday lunchtime.  They were called to Cropredy to a blaze in a caravan and horse box at 1.27pm.

Due to the remote location and the need for water, four appliances were sent to the incident – two from Oxfordshire and two more from Warwickshire.

Crews extinguished the fire using hose reel jets and cooled the gas cylinders that were present.   Firefighters remained at the scene for just under three hours.
