Hairdresser supports struggling families with free cut vouchers
30/11/2021
£1,000 worth of vouchers donated to The Lunch Box Project
A Banbury Hairdresser is spreading some festive joy by helping those who are struggling with free haircuts this Christmas. Vivi Studio in Parson’s Street has donated vouchers worth £1,000 to The Lunch Box Project for them to distribute to those in need.
Manager Karolina Kowal told Banbury FM: “We wanted to help the families in need in our community. Christmas is a wonderful time to do great things in other people’s lives so that even the most vulnerable can feel the good spirit.
“Just a simple act of giving free haircuts to families can surely put a smile on their faces and hopefully cheer them up this Christmas.”
Vivi Studio provides hairdressing services for both men and women and also offers a special Kids Hair Salon so that youngsters can be calm and enjoy a trip to the hairdresser, rather than being worried about having their cut.
The Lunch Box Project was set up to help struggling families in Banbury and the surrounding area and is run by Prabhu Natarajan. He said: “I’m honestly shocked by generosity. We will be able to give the vouchers to between 30 and 40 struggling families as a gift.
“It’s going to be a big task, but still we will make sure it goes to deserving hands in next couple of days!”
