Man in hospital after two transit vans collide on the A422

The incident occurred between Farthinghoe and Brackley
A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after two vans collided on the A422 between Brackley and Farthinghoe on Tuesday afternoon (December 21). The crash happened around 3.30pm.
A white Ford Transit van was travelling north towards Farthinghoe. Another white Ford Transit was travelling in the opposite direction towards Brackley.
As the vehicles passed Steane Park Garden the northbound van veered into the opposite carriageway colliding head-on with the second Transit.
Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue crews from Brackley, Towcester and Mereway attended the scene and used hydraulic cutting equipment to help release one of the drivers, who was a man in his 30s.
Police investigators are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
The male driver of the second Transit was taken to University Hospital Coventry with serious injuries, which are not thought to be life-threatening.
The other driver, and one passenger from each vehicle, were also taken to hospital as a precaution.
