Several vehicles seized for road traffic offences
31/01/2022
A van was untaxed and three other vehicles had no insurance
A number of vehicles were seized by Northamptonshire Police on Friday in a crack-down on road traffic offences.
An untaxed van which had been parked on a road in Kings Sutton was taken away on Friday morning.
Three further vehicles were then seized around Brackley in just a few hours for having no insurance. One of the cars had broken down on a blind bend with a flat tyre when it was spotted by officers. Another was being driven by a takeaway delivery driver.
A member of the Neighbourhood Policing team warned others doing this role to double check they are covered. They said: “Anyone else in similar employ please check that you have the relevant insurance that allows for this activity, or we will!”
