ITV Star on stage at Mill’s pop-up theatre

Star of the Chase on stage as transformation of bowling hall to theatre is completed
Work to create a pop-up theatre at the Woodgreen Leisure Centre has been completed and the first show will take to the stage this evening, featuring Paul Sinha from ITV’s The Chase.
The Leisure Centre is playing host to productions whilst the theatre at The Mill is out of use.
The centre’s indoor bowls hall was covered over earlier this week and professional staging, sound and lighting started to be built yesterday. A bar will be available and there’s free onsite parking.
Famous in part thanks to his role as one of the Chasers on ITV’s The Chase, Paul Sinha and Friends will tonight present a night of comedy.
Earlier this month it was announced that work to repair the theatre at the Mill Arts Centre was likely to take until the end of June. Flooding around The Mill at the start of the year led to damage requiring extensive work to not only fix damage to the auditorium floor but also to future-proof against the issue happening again.
