Brick used to smash entry to a property
08/04/2022
The Shutford home was burgled last weekend
A brick found in a property’s back garden was used by a burglar to smash their way into a local village home. Thames Valley Police is now appealing for witnesses following the break in last weekend.
The burglary took place at the bottom of Cooks Hill in Shutford, sometime between 11.30am on Saturday (April 2) and 6.30pm on Sunday (April 3).
A large brick from the back garden was thrown through a window which helped the burglar to gain access to the property. After a search cash was stolen.
Anyone who was in the area at the time, or who has relevant CCTV or dash-cam footage is asked to contact the police on 101, quoting reference 43220143912.
